Hi, I’m Kimberly Kennedy

Founder and CEO of Elite Functional Wellness

My passion and calling in life is to help others live their healthiest lives with minimal pain through movement, nutrition, and improved mental well-being. I have earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, and I am a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT), certified by the Lymphology Association of North America (LANA). Additionally, I hold certifications from NASM as a personal trainer, specializing in nutrition, performance enhancement, and wellness coaching.

I am deeply committed to promoting holistic health, fitness, and human performance. Sharing valuable knowledge to inspire and empower healthcare professionals, fitness enthusiasts, strength and conditioning experts, and individuals seeking exercise and rehabilitation guidance is at the core of my work. I believe in a client-centered, holistic approach that addresses the root cause of dysfunction to foster overall well-being. With the skills I have gained, I strive to improve health and fitness outcomes for those I serve.

As a retired combat veteran, I proudly deployed four times in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation New Dawn. In my free time, I enjoy boating, fishing, and camping with my husband, children, parents, and our three spoiled dogs.
